Switzerland Implements New EU Russia and Belarus Sanctions Measures

On 4 November, Switzerland adopted measures from the European Union’s 21st sanctions package against Russia and Belarus, with updated sanctions-list measures effective from 4 November and sectoral restrictions from 5 November. The changes create additional compliance requirements for companies involved in international trade, finance and cryptocurrency-related activities.
